“Allowing these boats to come across in such a dangerous way, allowing people to queue jump and being accused of lacking humanity by the French authorities who are allowing unaccompanied vulnerable children to roam around Calais - if that were happening in Dover we would have picked them up, they will be in the care of social services and we would have registered all those people and we'll be processing applications. That should be happening in France now. They’re just trying to make their problem our problem.”
