My reaction to yesterday's Budget - rightfully dominated by the response to COVID-19 but other really positive measures - including a £2.5bn 'pothole fund', nearly £650m of funding to help rough sleepers into permanent accommodation, axing the 'tampon-tax' and increasing the National Living Wage to £8.72.

Busting the Myths on Animal Welfare

There has been some misleading information circulating recently about the Government's commitment to animal welfare, which I wanted to correct. The Kept Animals Bill contained many important measures, such as banning live animal exports, preventing pet theft and tackling livestock worrying.
