Today, we will publish a new draft bill to ban letting fees for tenants in England. We are working to protect renters to ensure that they are not hit by surprise fees and costly upfront fees. Communities Secretary Sajid Javid has said: “We’re delivering on our promise to ban letting agent fees, alongside other measures to make renting fairer and increase protection for renters."
