Urgent meeting wit the Secretary of State for Transport

Urgent meeting with the Secretary of State for Transport, Chris Grayling and other Sussex MPs to discuss the chaos caused by the train timetables chaos following our letter to him yesterday.

3 key issues need addressing urgently:

1) Why was there a shortage of drivers when we have consistently be told by GTR that they have been training enough drivers to prevent a shortage

2) Need to get a compensation scheme be set up ASAP and ensure it is funded by the train operating companies

3) We must have a thorough and independent look into to how and why this happened

Although GTR and Network Rail are both in the frame for this chaos, GTR are already in last chance saloon and if an investigation proves that this is down to them then it must be the end of the line and they should have the contract stripped from them.
