While the National Funding Formula has improved the funding position there are still issues facing West Sussex schools, particularly special schools. At Education Questions, I asked the Education Secretary when he was going to addressed the anomaly that means an average 200 pupil special school in West Sussex is £800,000 worse off than a special school in Reading and £2,000,000 worse off than a special school in London.
