I was pleased to be able to attend the Grand Opening of the Rampion Offshore Wind Farm marking the completion of this exciting project, which will generate enough energy to power almost 350,000 homes every year for the next 25 years.
The first offshore wind farm in the UK has 116 turbines which will be able to power half of the homes across Sussex. It is a huge win-win that will provide clean energy, local jobs and a new tourist attraction, whilst there has also been investment in some great local causes.
