Today I’m pledging to help stop #puppysmuggling - I’ve read a worrying report from @dogstrust revealing horrific practices in some Eastern European countries where dogs are treated awfully and then transported hundreds of miles in horrendous conditions to be sold in the UK.
The Dogs Trust found that many of these dogs don’t have the proper checks or documents and are sold for large profits by these smugglers.
We need to stamp out this awful trade and prosecute the smugglers and people who treat animals so awfully.
