Today, we have set out a series of principles to govern our approach to the #NorthernIreland border as we leave the #EU.
We are clear that the UK government will be pushing to avoid any physical border infrastructure and border posts between Northern Ireland and Ireland for any purpose following #Brexit. The paper makes clear our commitment to maintaining and respecting the Belfast Good Friday Agreement is put at the heart of the negotiations with the EU on Northern Ireland and Ireland.
