I was at the fantastic Broadwater Pub this morning to drop in to the ‘Meet-up Monday’ event that is held every Monday between 11-12, organised by the landlady Diane Guest. It’s a brilliant project where local people can come along, have a natter, have some biscuits and a cup of tea - it’s a great initiative to get people out of the house and it’s to help combat loneliness.
