Having been approached by constituents suffering from the debilitating illness Lipoedema Peter Bottomley and I arranged a meeting with the local Clinical Commissioning Group and local clinicians to see how we could secure better treatment and support for local sufferers. We have also linked in with the charity Lipoedema UK to see how we can better spread national practice and I have requested the Department for health that we take a delegation of sufferers and clinicians to lobby the minister responsible. I would be interested to hear from other local sufferers with their experiences.
