I have put together a video to update constituents on the latest developments with the EU Withdrawal Bill and an explanation of why I voted to dismiss the Lords' amendments.

The British people voted for Brexit to take back control of our borders, our money, our laws, and our trade, everything else flows from this fundamental decision.

You cannot control our borders, our money or our laws so long as we are in the Single Market nor can we control our laws and our trade so long as we are in the Customs Union.

Leaving both of these institutions is integral to ensuring what the British people voted for is delivered. This is why I voted against amendments to keep us in these institutions.
