Adur & Worthing have been working up an electric vehicle strategy and are very pleased to say that by the end of January / beginning of February they will have 8 electric vehicle (EV) charging points in the Adur & Worthing locality:

2 x High Street Car Park, Worthing

2 x Brooklands Park, Lancing (these are upgraded technology charging posts)

2 x Worthing Town Hall Civic Centre Car Park

2 x Shoreham Centre car park
Once these are installed they will be looking to further develop the next stage of their EV strategy which will be looking at how they can encourage and enable other businesses and employers to install EV posts at their working premises as there is plenty of funding available from OLEV.
Beyond that, Adur & Worthing will work with other local authorities over the next couple of years to look at further expansion of points, including fleet vehicles, taxis and electric bikes where the opportunities and funding present themselves.
